14 Hidden Details in Parasite movie | Pink Man

We are going to see about Hidden Details in four Oscar award winning movie Parasite (2019) which was directed by Bong Joon Ho.

Parasite means an organism which lives depending on others. Kim's family,the poor one seems to look like the Parasite but if you notice well Park's family,the rich one is also a Parasite This movie's director Bong Joon-Ho named this movie Parasite connecting to both the rich and poor families. Poor one's works for the rich ones for their survival whereas Rich ones uses the poor ones as labours for their works. 

So,both the rich and poor are dependent on each other which connects both of them as the Parasite In this movie.

The difference between Upper class and Lower class is shown visually in many places. Kim's family is a poor family with their house located on a basement and also,the area where they lives will be on a lower level In a shot,a slope is shown and they needs to come down that slope to reach their area and in another scene,steps were shown and here also,they needs to come down to reach their area So,everything is shown on lower and the only thing which shown upper is,the toilet in Kim's house.

Whereas if you take Park's family,their house is shown above a slope Kim's son was shown coming up from the slope when he was going to Park's house for the first time and also,after entering their house,steps were shown and they will walk up to reach inside.

The distance between Park's house and Kim's house is shown as too longer which seems to represent the distance between Rich and Poor.

In this movie,lines were also used to distinguish between the Rich and Poor In this frame,Kim's son will be standing infront of a glass which has a line in it and to the right of that line,Park's wife is shown sitting whereas to the left of that line,the housekeeper and Kim's son were shown standing In another scene.

Kim goes to meet Park to join as a driver to him and there,Park was shown sitting inside a room and Kim waiting outside and there will be a line in the glass of Park's room and to the right of that line,Park is shown sitting whereas to the left.

Kim is shown In this movie,they mentioned in a dialogue that the Park's house was designed by a famous architect named Naamgoong This name Naamgoong connects with the Naamgoong character which comes as a specialists in designing the security features of a train in Snowpiercer movie which was also a movie of Bong Joon-Ho.

Another interesting detail in this is, Kang Ho Song who acted as Kim in this movie is the one who acted as Naamgoong in Snowpiercer movie At the end of this movie.

In the beginning of this movie,Kim's son will create fake certificates before joining into work in Park's house and at that time,in a shot,a symbol of a University named Yonsee is shown where that University really exists and also,this movie's director Bong Joon-Ho has studied Sociology in that University.

Park family's housekeeper,Moon-gwang will be fired from their house and after that,in a scene,while Park and Kim going in a car Park says to Kim that the housekeeper cooks well but the only weak point she has is "She always ate enough for two" At that time,that dialogue seems normal but later,we could understand the meaning of it That housekeeper's husband lives in the underground which lies below Park's house and Park's family doesn't know about the housekeeper giving food to her husband.

Green colour lighting is given to the underground which lies below Park's house So,maybe they might given this green colour as this place is safe because even the owners of that house doesn't know about this underground.

Park's son had drew a drawing and the face in that drawing looks like Moon-gwang's husband who lives at the underground of that house as that boy once saw Moon-gwang's husband and thought it as a ghost In this movie.

There is a connection between Moon-gwang's husband and Kim Moon-gwang's husband has once opened a cake shop and due to its loss only,they suffers a huge debt and in that shop only,Kim has worked as a driver In this movie.

A song sung by Gianni Morandi is played in the background in a scene Gianni Morandi is an actor and singer and the reason for using his song purposely is He has acted a few movies which focuses the difference between Rich and Poor So,that's why,they used a song of him purposely in this movie as in this movie also,they shows the difference between Rich and Poor.

There are two cars in Park's house,Benz and Range Rover and the drivers who are working in Park's house are shown driving the Benz car and Park was never shown driving the Benz car which was driven by the drivers Park was shown driving the Range Rover car and the Range Rover car which he drives is not shown used by the drivers.

At one situation,Kim's house and his area gets flooded and all the people over there stays at a place in that night and that whole night,Kim's son has the rock in his hands which was given by his friend and in the next morning,while he was texting,the rock's imprints was shown in his hands.
